The Healing Journey (THJ) is Clarity’s confidential Abortion Recovery Program. THJ offers help, hope, and healing for women suffering from the heartbreak of their abortions. Through our 8-week bible study, Surrendering the Secret, led by our Healing Journey Volunteer Coordinator, Teddi Embry, and other volunteers, we offer post-abortive support in a safe and confidential environment. Our goal is mental, emotional, and spiritual healing, facilitated by a compassionate team of individuals who understand the regrets and shame that keep millions of men and women suffering in silence.

Who is the program for?

Any woman who has had an abortion and is looking for hope and healing.

What if it has been years since I had an abortion?

Whether your abortion just happened or was 45 years ago, if you are looking for mental, emotional, and spiritual healing, you are welcome here.

How long does the program last?

The program consists of an 8-week Bible study, and meetings are scheduled based on the participant’s schedule.

Will I be in a group with other people?

It’s up to you! The study can be completed one-on-one with your THJ team member, or if there are other women you know who have experienced abortion who you would like to go through the study with, you can do that as well.

Who will know I am participating?

Only our THJ staff will know, and all information discussed in your sessions will be kept strictly confidential.
